This song kinda reminds me of the Band.  

I heard this from local mystery group BNLX on the Current's "Local Show" Sunday.  They have a facebook page, but that's about it.  I believe Susstone is releasing their debut.  I found this track on localm.com.  I must say this is a very clever bit of marketing by the mystery group.  As for the song, that's pretty good too.

One of the greatest tracks of the 90s, almost everyone knows it from the film High Fidelity fame.  I love this video footage w/ it.

This cover of Bon Iver's beautiful song "Flume" hasn't received a very good critical response, but I love it.

One of my all-time favorites, "My Valuable Hunting Knife" from GBV.  This song comes from, in my opinion their best record, Alien Lanes from way back in 1995.  This version, slightly different, comes from their Tiger Bomb EP.
